Sticking only on the first idea.
First idea may or may not be good. Company logo compared with any other design, only those with the most outstanding concept can be selected. Keep in thoughts, the first idea is awesome, but other ideas can also be wonderful so do not neglect them.
Having limited choices.
Initial concepts for a must be at least five, not just two or three. The purpose for this is the more choices you have, the better you can assess. After examining and evaluating them together, you will see which one is the best for your business.
Giving the job to a beginner.
The cost for a beginner logo design appears to be inexpensive, but the risk later on can be an outstanding. Company logo design needs to be innovative, professional and outstanding.
Depends too much on color.
A logo designer knows that a logo needs more than just a color. The layout and structure is more important. It is better to assess the initial design in grayscale to see the idea first, then add color later to improve the effect on the entire design.
Poor font choice.
The text in the logo is the company and/or product name, its significance is unquestionable. That is why the font for logo has to capture client’s interest.
